Cycling: Nathan O’Neil, Jackie Tyson injured March 14, 2007-- Highway Accident injures Tour de Georgia Representatives CARTERSVILLE, GA: Australian Cyclist Nathan O’Neill, Jackie Tyson, Dir of Communications for Tour de Georgia, and Judy Staton, Georgia Cancer Coalition, were traveling southbound on I-75 Tuesday returning from a Tour de Georgia press conference in Chattanooga when the SUV they were driving in was apparently bumped from the rear causing it to crash into the left guard rail and flip over 4–5 times on the guard rail. Alaska Ultrasport 2007 from altbike.org — bike4fun sent me this story from a friend of his sister. He said it was hard core… and we whine when it’s +30′s. Quote: “I have been thinking about the Alaska Ultrasport and wanting to try it since the first time I heard about it over 5 years ago. Even with all the information and stories I have heard from Eric I could never have imagined how brutal this race was going to be…I’m not exactly sure what the temperature was at the start, but probably between −10 and −15.” This is a great real-life adventure story and pictures. Read & enjoy. Sorry, I don’t even know the author’s full name; I think she goes by Lou-Lou to her friends.
